When you try to connect to the cPanel it will automatically redirect to https (SSL) and you may receive a certificate warning. This is because the servers "host name" is using a self signed certificate. This isn't actually a security issue (as the connection is still encrypted), but browsers do complain about this mis-match. You can safely ignore the warning by clicking at proceed anyway. Please see the screenshots below:
